Poly Houses / Green House -Need of Hour

As more and more challenges are faced by the farmers , we should go for modern techniques to save water , less electricity , less pesticides, more produce in less area, less use of inorganic manure and move towards organic produce.

We cannot depend on traditional farming when the challenges are growing day by day. Green house farming is the need of hour. We can take various farming produce with the use of poly houses. This require less space, less water , less loss due to external factors.

Before starting the poly house the farmer should do through study of the Green houses available in market and people who are using it. There is big hub of green houses Talegaon Near Pune . One must which should visit these hub having 100 of companies using poly houses. There are many companies in MIDC Talegaon ,Pune.

In Rajasthan also there is big push for Green houses and we can see many poly houses in Bikaner District also.

I have visited one of the poly houses producing ornamental plants. You can see with small area they are doing wonders.

MSP Rates increased by Govt of India

The new MSP rates for the six Rabi crops are as follows: Wheat: 2 per cent MSP hike to a rate of Rs 2,015 per quintal, with 100 per cent returns over the cost of production. Rapeseed and Mustard: 8.6 per cent MSP hike to a rate of Rs 5,050 per quintal, with 100 per cent returns over the cost of production.

This Rabi Crops MSP 2020-21 increase is followed by Rapeseed & Mustard (Rs. 225 per quintal) and gram (Rs. 225 per quintal) to raise the income of farmers. MSP of safflower is increased by Rs. 112 per quintal and Barley MSP raised by Rs. 75 per quintal. The least increase is observed for the Wheat Crops which is raised by Rs. 50 per quintal

This will help to farmers in long run. The rates increase will boost the economical condition of the farmers and they will get their dues of capital investment.

This rate increase the boost the farmers morale to plan his next produce. Due to no water in Rajasthan canal, less rains the western Rajasthan is undergoing drought situation.

Also, solar energy frees farmers from electricity spikes or times when electricity is all consumed at once. Electric companies will bill farmers much more for ‘disrupting’ the power system.

The solar system generate power for us silently and the initial capital cost is recovered in short time. Farmer is not required to wait for electricity to run his farming activity. The assured power in day time let him plan in advance for his all activities.
